30 minute Steam Sauna (Svedhana)
Relax in our full body steam sauna.
Service Description
A shorter full body steam session with or without herbs. Add to a massage or try it on it's own. A Svedhana is a sweat that is induced in Ayurveda to help the body internally remove itself of impurities through the pores. Special botanicals are boiled and used to personalize each session individually. It is an excellent way to strengthen the immune system. The Svedhana can be added to any service. A lovely addition to any treatment we offer or stand alone. Steaming can aggravate asthma, lower blood pressure and be contraindicated for those with heart disease and low blood pressure. It is best to consult with one’s physician if one has any concerns. Our cooling and refreshing Tulsi/Rose/Sandalwood spray and Nasya (nose) oil is offered afterwards.
Cancellation Policy
Online deposit for services is non refundable and is applied towards appointment. Remaining is due at the appointment in person via credit card, cash or Venmo. In the event of a cancellation made prior to 48 hours the deposit is applied to future services. They can be gifted. If appointment is a no - call or no - show, deposit is forfeited for our time and resources. Please fill out the Ayurveda Intake email form before your appointment. Must be 18 years and older to receive services.
