Experience the ultimate in divine Ayurvedic massage including up to 30 minutes of a relaxing, full body steam bath (Svedhana) after the massage. Our cooling and refreshing Tulsi/Rose/Sandalwood spray and Nasya (nose) oil is offered afterwards. This 90 minute massage treatment is designed to balance, restore, rejuvenate and detox the system with Ayurveda Dosha balancing medicated herbal oils. These oils are thoughtfully formulated with several herbs and botanicals in each one. We will pick which ones according to the specific Doshas that are being presented from the Ayurveda intake during the appointment. (Dosha means "fault, that which can cause problems" in Sanskrit) to restore vitality to one's Vikruti through the Vata, Pitta and Kapha systems. Indian massage techniques are used and incorporate acupressure and deep tissue. This massage includes the balancing Thali foot massage with Kansa bowl and facial/head massage. It is truly head to toe. It is very oily as in Ayurveda we perceive the oils to be healthy for the entire body. *Please be aware that our use of the warm oils are very liberal and dress/prepare accordingly. It is encouraged to spend the rest of the day relaxing at home. It is recommended to steam at least for 15-30 minutes after Ayurvedic bodywork treatments to fully experience the powerful healing in the true Ayurvedic fashion.
