This traditional body treatment is for specific Doshic conditions. We do require the Ayurveda intake form be fully completed as well as 10 minute assessment before the treatment. Includes the steam sauna (Svedhana) after the treatment which is imperative for this restorative body treatment. Experience the ultimate in divine Ayurvedic massage including up to 30 minutes of a relaxing, full body steam bath (Svedhana) after the massage. Our cooling and refreshing Tulsi/Rose/Sandalwood spray and Nasya (nose) oil is offered afterwards. Udvarthana, also known as Udwarthanam, is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy involving a therapeutic massage with our specially formulated herbal powders. This vigorous massage aims to help to reduce excess adipose tissue underneath the skin, assist with weight loss/tonifying, drain stagnant lymph, drain excess Kapha, reduce Pitta or Vata, improve skin health, improve circulation, and promote detoxification. Leaves the skin absolutely refreshed and glowing. After the 90 minute massage the powder is removed with hot towels and a up to 30 minute steam sauna follows.
